Autumn fills up our bellies.

Missing your gezellig night with delicious autumn dishes?

For the second Down-to-Earth Dinner, our them was “autumn and harvest”.

On a beautiful autumn day, some of the food working group members went to Fruittuin van West, which is a lovely organic farm located 30 minutes away from AUC, and we harvested various mushrooms, berries and apples. (it was surprising to see “nameko” mushroom in the Netherlands!)

It was great to see where our food come from and how they grow. A bite of your apple definitely tastes better when you pick it up from a tree with your hand.

Here you can see all the recipes hyperlinked!

We modified some of them, but got inspired by those.

Check them out and enjoy the taste of autumn:)
